The SIMPSON D-Cell was originally designed for race vehicles that run on rough terrain and are prone to multiple impacts.

It's main feature is that this system does not rely upon the seat belt to locate it for it to work !

The Simpson D-Cell is worn on the body with the 'loads' being spread through the harness, anchored by the pelvis, reducing neck tension by 45 - 70 % (lab tested).

The helmet hardware cable works in both forward and aft directions and provides excellent side head movement protection.
